If you did not find your name on the list and were anticipating your acceptance, it is possible that your name will come out on a later list. It is also possible that your application is being held for next year (2012/2013), especially if you applied after March 2011.

If you did find your name, we congratulate you on being accepted.

Please email us at: admin@madinahstudents.com so that we may further assist you if you have inquiries.

May Allah make this opportunity a blessing for you and may He assist you on your path of seeking knowledge. You should begin the process of getting your visa from the Saudi Arabian Embassy located in Washington D.C. immediately. If you did not get an acceptance letter from the university yet, it may be coming late, or may never reach you at all.

To make your process easier we will post detailed instructions of what you need to do, step by step, to the best of our ability and knowledge.

The following link is the Student Visa Requirements page on the Saudi Embassy website:

http://saudiembassy.net/services/student_visa.aspx

Requirements:

1. A passport valid for at least twelve (12) months, with at least two (2) clear visa pages adjacent to each other.

2. One (1) recent passport size color photograph with a white background. Photograph(s) must be full-face shots in which the applicant is facing the camera directly. Side or angled-views are NOT accepted. Guidelines for accepted photograph for Visa.

3. A completed application form filled-out with a black ink pen or printed. Application forms can be downloaded from the website at http://www.saudiembassy.net/. Please include your email address on the application.

4. A reference note showing the number and the date of the student visa issued from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or its branches in Jeddah or Dammam.

5. The applicant’s original birth certificate plus one (1) copy of it.

6. The applicant’s original High School Diploma plus one (1) copy of it. The copy must be authenticated by the Saudi Cultural Mission (telephone 202-298 -8840 or 202-298-8849).

7. Three (3) copies of our medical report, along with three (3) passport size color pictures with a white background.

This medical report must be issued by a licensed physician who must sign each copy and certify that the applicant is free of any contagious disease. The license number and address of the physician should appear on each copy. Medical reports must be used within three (3) months from the date of issuance.

Click here to download the medical report form (PDF format).

Children under the age of sixteen (16) do not need a medical report.

8. A recent police report, with detailed information about applicant’s criminal record, if any.

9. For married students wishing to take along their spouses or their children, proof of kinship: for a spouse, a copy of the marriage certificate; for a child, a copy of the birth certificate.

10. Log on to https://enjazit.com.sa/ . Click on “Apply for a visa to enter the Kingdom by individuals.” Complete the online request for an Employment visa. It is important to record the request number on the application and present it to the Consulate. Guideline for enjaz online application.

11. Mailing Passport: We would like to bring to the attention of all applicants who send their passports by mail that from this time on, anyone who includes a RETURN Federal Express, DHL, Airborne Express, UPS or any other airway bill, should also include a MONEY ORDER made out to the company the applicant will choose. No cash, credit card or personal check will be accepted. Any package without such payment will be on hold until the payment is received. It is applicant’s responsibility to include the EXACT amount according to the weight of the package. Washington DC Location: 601 New Hampshire Ave, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20037 – Tel. 703-573-7226

NOTE: On Visa requirement item # 7 (The Medical Report) this step will take the longest amount of time since it involves a doctor’s visit and some lab work. So make this your first priority. Start by printing the following document:http://saudiembassy.net/files/PDF/MedicalReport.pdf Make three copies of it and take it to your physician. Then proceed to complete the rest of the visa requirements.

The person that you need to contact to process your papers in order to obtain a visa is in the Cultural Mission Department of the Saudi Embassy.

Last year it was, Nisrin Ghazal, her telephone # is

703-573-7226, and press 2 for English, 1 for number, 1 for number, then 2515 # to get to the person that will be processing your visa.

(she usually communicates better via E-mail, protocol@sacm.org or nghazal@sacm.org).

Be sure to stay in constant contact with her in order to be up to date with you status.

Any questions should be directed to the responsible person at the Cultural Mission.

NOTE: She will tell you that she cannot start your process until she receives a letter from the university with your name on it. It is called a visa reference note. The reference note of your visa is issued by the ministry of foreign affairs to the university. The university administration sends it to the Cultural Mission; you do not have to do anything about it.

To obtain your visa, you must wait until the university sends your info to the Cultural Mission of the Saudi Embassy. What I advise is that you have all other required paper work mentioned and wait for the response from the Cultural Mission. Please stay in regular contact with the responsible person at the Cultural Mission.

Make sure that all requirements are completed fully and do not send/mail them until she asks you to do so. This is for protection of your documents since loss/misplacement/mishandling has taken place in the past,

Eventually you will send your documents in a package to the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission to the address below.

Nisrin Ghazal

Head of Protocol & Universities Affairs

Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission

Please remain patient and in a state of Dua and beg Allah to bless you in this journey and make it easy for you.

Please email us at: admin@madinahstudents.com so that we may further assist you if you have inquiries.

May Allah make your affairs easy, and may He grant you goodness and success in this life and the next.

Your visa should arrive with the rest of the new students in January. Check with the Saudi Cultural mission for updates.

We do not know anything about the process of visas in other countries. We suggest that you contact current or past students from Nepal to be better informed. May Allah make your affairs easy.
